HAAC’s African Nova Scotian Mental Health and Addictions Initiative held it’s second conference on October 1-2, 2015.

The theme was “Trauma Informed Practive: A Lens on the African Canadian Community” with keynote speaker Dr. Joy DeGruy and workshop facilitators: Dr. Jason Chapman, Teresa Johnson, Rev. LeQuita Porter, Robert Wright, and Lana MacLean.

The conference consisted of a pre-conference clinical workshop, mental health mingler, and the full conference day.
