We are excited to share an upcoming training opportunity through a partnership with CeaseFire, Nova Scotia Brotherhood Initiative, Association of Black Social Workers, and Veith House.
This will train members of the African-Nova Scotian community who are working in social service settings to acquire skills that will help meet the need for culturally appropriate, peer-support driven group counselling sessions with a focus on Grief Management.
The training will be lead by Dr. Barbara Hamilton-Hinch, and Roy Ellis, Grief and Bereavement Lead for the Nova Scotia Health Authority and take place on February 10th, 2017.
